This was probably my favorite one so far! A lot of juicy backstory and tips, plus optimism! ✨

A job does not define your identity, nor does it validate you as a person. Your worth as a person is not determined by whether you are a good father or a good husband either.

Your validation as a person lies in universal principles such as love, kindness, and fairness — and you are the one who sets your own standards. In the end, your validation can come simply from your existence.

I can see that you’ve fallen into, like many others, the mindset that your job is who you are. It isn’t. Don’t mix those things — it will only make you unhappy. You’re conflating core drivers that may seem similar but are not the same.

If you want to become a millionaire, you can do it whether you work hard or not, whether you’re a genius or not. There has to be a significant element of luck — being in the right place at the right time. You might be able to achieve that even with one hand tied behind your back and your eyes closed, because something about it just works for you. But something else, which could also bring billions, simply doesn’t suit you.

And if we’re talking about ADHD — or whatever you want to call it — that has nothing to do with the job. It has to do with personality. And that requires different tools. Start with Carl Jung and his idea: “Where it is hardest, there lies my path.” That has nothing to do with your skills.

And add Friedrich Nietzsche’s amor fati — the idea of embracing your fate, not just accepting it, but loving it as it is.

Best regards, and sorry for the directness — take care.

Really interesting patterns in here. Every major unlock you describe happened in a single conversation, not the mastermind/container around it. You even tried offering that exact thing with the Board but pulled back. I'm curious what felt off about it.

I think I dont like teaching people or being a mentor over a long period of time, I get bored :) I just wanna make my own stuff.

It seems like you gravitate to the intervention. Bam - value. Move. Not lingering. So maybe lingering = 'boredom.' The hard part is figuring out how to package and sell a one-shot intervention when (almost) every time you've experienced it, it was buried inside a bigger container.
