I like the pool analogy, because what you need to do is just dive in, but I only know a handful of entrepreneurs who were confident enough to do that of their own volition.

What seems more common is people are either pushed into entrepreneurship out of necessity (putting food on the table however they can) or they stumble into it (hey this little side hustle is taking off).

Regardless of how you end up there though, once you're in the pool you've got to keep swimming, so inaction becomes much harder.
